Background

The idea of establishing a network came from a King’s Fund event on Participatory Approaches (PA) held in March 2001.  The network was set up to promote PA and support those using PA in projects and programmes in London. 

The Network has been established by a collaborative partnership. The Steering Group currently consists of

Jonathan Dudding- Institute of Cultural Affairs

Teresa Edmans – Health and Regeneration Programme, King’s Fund

Marion Gibbon - Immediate Access Project, King's College.

Trudi James – Sure Start Haringey

Paul Mincher - International Institute for Environment & Development

Suzanne Speak- Consultant researcher, Imagine London

Leroy White - The Centre for Community Partnership at South Bank University
